On Monday (28), BRAVA Energia released its first Annual and Sustainability Report for the base year of 2024, reflecting the alignment of practices between Enauta and 3R Petroleum after the merger that gave rise to the new company.

The report provides an overview of BRAVA’s actions in strategic areas such as asset management, financial performance, human capital appreciation, environmental preservation, ethics, governance, and relationships with the communities where it operates. It also highlights indicators related to material topics defined in the company’s business plan, reinforcing transparency and long-term focus.

BRAVA Energia adopts the main international reporting frameworks — such as TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) — with the aim of ensuring the consistency, comparability, and robustness of the information disclosed. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to accountability to its stakeholders and to generating sustainable value, contributing to more informed decisions by investors, regulators, partners, and society.

As a signatory to the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, BRAVA is committed to integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its corporate strategy. The company has also joined the Brazil Business Integrity Pact and has been recognized with the Pro-Ethics Company Award*, granted by the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), and with the Clean Company Seal, from the Ethos Institute.

Local impact and value creation

The report also highlights BRAVA’s contribution to the socioeconomic development of the territories in which it operates. In the state of Rio Grande do Norte, for example, the activities of the Potiguar Complex generated around 500 direct jobs and generated R$ 475 million in taxes (ICMS and royalties) in 2024 alone.

Currently, the company has around 1,100 employees distributed between its corporate headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and operating units in Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and Rio Grande do Norte.
