BRAVA Energia is celebrating five years of operation in Rio Grande do Norte. The result of a merger between 3R Petroleum and Enauta, the company is the most diversified independent oil and gas company in the country. To celebrate its work in RN, it is bringing two performances by the Academia Jovem Concertante (AJC) to the state: in Mossoró, on the 21st, at 7 p.m., at the Dix-Huit Rosado Municipal Theater; and in Natal, on the 22nd, at 6 p.m., at the Onofre Lopes Auditorium of the UFRN School of Music.

BRAVA has been in RN since 2020 with onshore and offshore assets. In the state, it operates the Potiguar Complex, with hubs in Macau, Pescada (35% stake), Fazenda Belém, Areia Branca, and Potiguar. The company’s industrial assets are located in the Potiguar Complex, in Guamaré. In addition, the company is present in Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Bahia, and Ceará, generating more than 9,000 direct and indirect jobs and driving economic and social development in the regions where it operates.

“Rio Grande do Norte is an important region for our operation. More than production numbers, our main goal is to build a legacy of responsible development for the state. Each investment by the company is a step toward strengthening the local economy, generating jobs, and, with respect for the communities, ensuring that our presence has a positive impact for many years to come,” says BRAVA Energia CEO Décio Oddone.

Academia Jovem Concertante

Created by renowned pianist Simone Leitão from Minas Gerais, Academia Jovem Concertante (AJC) has been running for over a decade and is considered one of the most important projects for training young musicians in the field of symphonic music in Brazil, democratizing access to the fourth art and encouraging the rise of new talent. The initiative is carried out through the Federal Government’s Rouanet Law and is sponsored by BRAVA Energia for shows in Natal, Mossoró, and Rio de Janeiro.

“It is a unique experience, as these young people mature together and create bonds that unite the country and prepare them for their profession. In general, it is the kickstart their careers needed to advance. We see our former students who are now employed in major orchestras in Brazil and around the world,” says Simone Leitão, creator of the project, which has held more than 200 concerts and impacted more than 100,000 people.

AJC cellist Diego Paixão, who is from Rio Grande do Norte, comments on the importance of the Academy’s events in the state. “The presence of the Academia Jovem Concertante in Natal and Mossoró, bringing together talents from all over Brazil and especially from the Northeast, reaffirms that our region has a place and a voice in the classical music scene, celebrating art and excellence.”

In Rio Grande do Norte, concerts in Mossoró and Natal on the 21st and 22nd, respectively, are part of BRAVA’s five-year anniversary celebration in the state. The events aim to bring a symphonic repertoire to all regions of the country that is both a portrait of the creativity and diversity of young Brazilian musicians and a laboratory that prepares them for the job market.

“We invite the people of Natal and Mossoró to join us at the celebration events. These will be important moments to celebrate the good results and highlight BRAVA’s pride in being part of Rio Grande do Norte,” adds Oddone.
