The third edition of Arena Jockey, one of the most beloved and eagerly awaited events for the people of Rio (held at the Jockey Club Brasileiro, in the Southern Zone of Rio), has been confirmed and BRAVA Energia is the holder of the naming rights. This initiative consolidates the company’s investment in the city of Rio de Janeiro and its support of Culture and Entertainment. In 2025, the Brava Arena Jockey is strengthening the partnership between the two brands and the mutual goal of creating remarkable experiences – highlighting the concert venue as an attraction that is already well regarded by the public as a fixture in the Rio cultural calendar. The first confirmed and highly anticipated show this year will be Dominguinho – a new musical project by João Gomes, Mestrinho and Jota.pê – which is also the name of the trio’s album.
Décio Oddone, the CEO of BRAVA Energia, commented that, “The decision to unite BRAVA Energia with Arena Jockey is a strategic step in building a brand with purpose, that generates value not only for the company but also for society. BRAVA is a company that values Brazil and its diverse cultural expressions. Supporting Arena Jockey demonstrates our commitment to social and cultural development through music, an important pillar in the building of the national identity”.
The Brava Arena Jockey will run from October 29th to December 31st at the Jockey Club in Rio. The event has already hosted big names in Brazilian popular music, such as Roberto Carlos, Marisa Monte, Maria Bethânia, Caetano Veloso, Ney Matogrosso, Seu Jorge, Nando Reis, João Gomes, Titãs, BaianaSystem, Paralamas do Sucesso and Jota Quest, among others. The event is conceived and produced by Kappamakki.
Simon Fuller, the founder of Kappamakki, emphasized that, “The partnership with Brava Energia goes beyond the 2025 edition and represents a very important step for Arena Jockey. It aligns with our purpose of offering quality entertainment to the public, while boosting Rio’s creative economy. We’re talking about the energy that Rio deserves — our tagline, in fact — because it represents the efforts of two brands working towards a common goal: creating a unique cultural space that provides a premium experience for Rio’s residents, tourists, industry participants and the social institutions involved. We believe in the positive impact that the Brava Arena Jockey will bring, with more strength, innovation and sustainability, while further emphasizing the Brazilian essence of our culture”.
